Log in to your account

In order to make changes to your website, you will need to log in to your WordPress account and access the WordPress Admin dashboard.

  1. Open your Internet browser.
  2. Type in your URL name, followed by /wp-admin. For example “www.humberveb.com/wp-admin”
  3. Enter your username and password.
Log in to your WordPress account.
Access the WordPress Admin dashboard.

A.     Adding a page

In order to add a page to your website, you will need to log in to your WordPress account and access the Admin dashboard as shown in the previous section.

  1. Access the WordPress Admin dashboard.
  2. Go to Pages > Add New.
  3. Add a page title and a description of your page.
  4. To publish your page, click on Publish.
Navigate to Pages and click on Add New.

Click on Publish in order to publish your page.

B. Editing an existing page

  1. To edit a page, click on Pages.
  2. Select the page you want to edit from the list and click on Edit.
  3. You can make changes to the Page Title and to the existing text on the page.
  4. To save your changes, click Update.
Click on Pages, select the page you want to edit and click Edit.
You can make changes to the Page Title and the text. To save your changes, click on Update.

C. Deleting a page

  1. To delete a page, click on Pages.
  2. Select the page you want to delete from the list and click on Trash.
Click on Pages, select the page you want to delete and click on Trash.
