What We Offer

If you are a small business interested in improving your web presence and collaborating with Humber students, please review the information below, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions. Our team of talented Humber students can provide the following:

  • Website development (WordPress)
  • Graphic design and branding
  • Photography & videography for the website
  • Blog & Social Media setup and integration
  • A user manual and one-on-one training session on how to update and maintain the website

Eligibility and Partner’s Contribution

  • Eligible business partners must be registered in Ontario
  • Funding received from the the Government of Ontario and Ontario Centres of Excellence, a member of the Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs (ONE), contributes to the salary, materials, and other costs of these projects
  • The business partner is required to:
    • Contribute $500 in cash, any unused funds will be returned to the business partner upon completion of the project
    • Match OCE funding 1:1 in cash or in-kind
  • The business partner’s in-kind contribution must include the following:
    • WordPress Premium account fees (annual fees paid online directly to the vendor)
    • Cost of purchasing stock images and videos, as needed
    • Salary of a business partner employee – each partner is expected to make a time commitment to the project to work directly with the Humber team, review progress, and provide feedback
  • The project will be managed by Humber’s faculty lead. To ensure successful completion of the project, the business partner is expected to meet regularly with the Humber team, based on the project requirements

  • Potential business partners are invited to submit a Partner Project Summary Form
  • Applicants will be invited to attend a meeting at Humber College’s Applied Research & Innovation
  • Successful applicants will be contacted to follow-up and develop a Partnership Agreement
  • Students will be hired by Humber College, and project work can start as early as September and end March of the following year
